The farm had existed for centuries, there are countless stories that tell of its life, but in the ’50s has been inherited by the grandfather, and has since developed the cultivation and management of vineyards and olive trees, which was entrusted to several farmers Sanpolesi of trust, maintained that up to ’99 , grapes and olive oil in return. In that year began the rebirth of the farm, with the reconquest of the roads, fields and reclamation of all areas of the wood and the stain had their own, are back with their pets and the valuable manure, we begun to rediscover and restore spaces, tools, equipment and facilities. Since 2005 there has been conversion to organic production, the development plan for the construction of a new winery and the restoration of the old hall for the aging, the new water system, the purchase of machinery and equipment, restructuring of the corporate center and much more.

In 2006 we made our first wines of the highest quality, thanks to the fortunate friendship with David Picci, an agronomist and soil specialist in viticulture, which operates internationally with one of the most famous French wine-making schools.

With David, the quality grapes that our vineyards offer, the climate and the facilities have always suited to wine production and the strong emotional involvement that unites us in protecting the environment and natural mother of all, has developed the project ” Felix “, and in 2008 was released on the market the wines, the heart and soul of this farm, natural wine” pampered “and respected at every stage of his birth and its evolution, a wine that should not be described with pompous phrases or presented in flashy clothes, but drunk and “heard” and then fall in love as it happens at all!

From our vineyards also produce Le Terrazze del Merendero, we invite you to enjoy in the farm,  you’ll also find olive oil honey and other products.

To reach us:

From Florence: Exit Firenze Sud, take for Grassina, after the square of Grassina turn left to San Polo, after about 7 km before entering the village immediately after the gasoline station, turn right after 100 meters before the Restaurant  La Paglietta turn right onto the dirt road, and you’re there.

From Greve in Chianti: towards Florence, after Chiocchio and before Strada in Chianti,  turn right for San Polo in Chianti, about 10 km before the village and immediately after the Restaurant La Paglietta turn left onto the dirt road after about 500 meters you have arrived .

From Figline Valdarno: direction Florence, exit from Figline take the left fork to Poggio la Croce, continue for about 10 km, after Poggio alla Croce continue for 5 km. pass the village of San Polo and turn left to Strada in Chianti, after about 100 meters before the Restaurant La Paglietta, turn right onto the dirt road, and you’re there.
